Job Description

Korean Chef/ Assistant Chef

Responsibilities:

·        Cook Korean Food at our restaurant

·        Manage the kitchen, prepare special and standard recipe for menu items

·        Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards

·        Create classy food presentation with attractive display

·        Determine proper food portion, arrangement and garnishes

·        Cost control in aspects of purchasing, storing, production, wastage

·        Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program

·        Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional

·        Keep kitchen and working area tidy and safe at all times

·        Develop and maintain positive work relationship with others

·        Prepare relevant report and some administrative work

Requirements:

·        2-3 years of proven experience cooking of Korean food or at Korean restaurant

·        Able to maintain high standard for food, service and hygiene practice

·        Service oriented with strong passion in quality food preparation

·        Hardworking, committed and responsible

·        Korean nationality is welcome to apply
